Additional Information About On-Line AAS Dues Payment

A standard regular or student membership includes:

An electronic and hardcopy subscription to The Journal of Arachnology (ISSN 0160-8202), a publication devoted to the study of Arachnida. The Journal is published three times each year.
The Society's newsletter, American Arachnology
Notices pertaining to the Society's annual meeting and reduced registration fees for the meetings.

A green electronic-only regular or student membership includes:

An electronic-only subscription to The Journal of Arachnology (ISSN 0160-8202), a publication devoted to the study of Arachnida. The Journal is published three times each year.

Notices pertaining to the Society's annual meeting and reduced registration fees for the meetings.

Those seeking student memberships may be asked by the Membership Secretary to provide documentation that they are full-time students.

Lifetime members of the AAS receive all benefits of membership (see above, and as amended in the future). Lifetime memberships may be obtained either by a single $1,375.00 (US) payment (25X the present annual full membership) or payment of $687.50 (US) on two consecutive years.

For annual AAS dues, you have the choice of whether or not you help defray the transaction costs. Thus, you can choose to pay either:

$55 or
$55 + $0.30 + $1.90 = $57.20

or other appropriate amounts for student registrations.

We ask that you strongly consider paying the slightly higher cost and thereby help the Society financially.
