Please note that it is Society policy NOT to refund membership or other dues that we collect for other organizations. You must deal directly with the other entity.

Finally, please note that transaction fees cost the Society $0.30 + about 3% of the total transaction.

For annual AAS dues, you have the choice of whether or not you help defray the transaction costs. Thus, you can choose to pay either:

  • $55 or
  • $55 + $0.30 + $1.90 = $57.20

We ask that you seriously consider paying the slightly higher cost and thereby help the Society financially.

For all non-AAS memberships (for example, ISA) and subscriptions, we include the transaction costs (which are generally rounded up to the nearest $0.25) in part to defray the costs of international transactions.
