Choosing to make this payment allows your article to be accessible to everyone on-line at the AAS website instead of it being embargoed for one year after publication to non-members of the AAS.

Your participation in this program also helps defray costs the Society pays for on-line publication (the cost of the pdfs from our publisher, Allen Press).

Please follow the following two steps for each article for which you wish to purchase immediate access.

Step 1 (Everyone purchasing immediate access, whether by mail or electronically should complete this step): Please send an e-mail to the AAS website administrator, Ken Prestwich alerting them that you have chosen this option. In the e-mail, please give:

  • the author's name(s) and
  • the title or an approximate title for the article

You will receive an acknowledgment within a week -- if you do not, please contact Ken Prestwich (website admin.) again (sometimes emails get lost!).

 

Step 2: Either use the on-line order form below to pay using PayPal (preferred) or download a pdf of the paper form and send it and a check to the Treasurer of the Society (address on form).
