Instructions for Using PayPal to Purchase Immediate Open Access to Your Latest JoA Article |

Before starting,
be sure that "cookies" are enabled on your web browser;
alternatively, please accept all cookies from PayPal. If the cookies are
not enabled, the server has no way to keep track of what dues you have
decided to pay. For instructions on enabling
cookies, press here.
Please be sure that you have emailed the AAS website administrator that you will select this option (see the on-line immediate access form).
Then, select the appropriate box on the on-line immediate form . After a few moments you will see the following form from PayPal (note that the exact details of the description will depend on what you selected).

If you are security conscious, be sure that the payPal address (in the page's address window at top) starts with "https" and NOT "http").
Note the selection in this case-- Immediate Open Public Access for a JoA Feature Article. If you want more details, you can click the arrow just beneath the description and the box will expand (see next picture). |

If this is INCORRECT, simply use the reverse button on your browser to return the "Purchase Open Access" page and start over. There is no need to delete the item shown on this page.
If this is correct and you have a PayPal account, go ahead and log in -- you know what to do.
If this is correct and you do not have or do not wish to use a PayPal account, select the "Continue" button at the end of the "Don't have a PayPal Account" line (just above the pictures of credit cards).
You will then proceed as you would with any on-line credit card purchase. |
