Dr. Herbert Levi died on Monday, Nov. 3, just two months short of what would have been his 94th birthday. Herb had been suffering from congestive heart disease but his mind was active until the end, working to finish up papers and collaborations. He died at home with Lorna and daughter Frances present.

Herb’s life partner, Lorna Levi died just a few days later on Nov. 15. Lorna was 86 and had been ill with heart problems for the past 2 – 3 months. Lorna and Herb were partners in life and work for many, many decades, and we are only relieved that they both died at home and were not apart for long.
