The 23rd International Congress of Arachnology (ICA 2026) will be held from 15–21 November 2026 in Kochi, in the state of Kerala in southwestern India.
The congress - the first ICA to take place in India - is organized under the auspices of the International Society of Arachnology. It will be hosted by Bharata Mata College, Kochi, and Devamatha College, Kuravilangad, both affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala.
The first circular contains extensive information on registration, venue, excursions, specimen collection, and visa requirements as well as helpful notes on the region and climate. It also provides links to the congress website, submission of proposals for symposia and short courses (due by October 31, 2025), and the pre-registration form. (Note that pre-registration, which is free and non-binding, is strongly encouraged and will help speed up visa processing.)
