Support research – Donations fund students studying the behavior, ecology, physiology, and evolution, taxonomy or systematics of any arachnid groups; support student presenters' travel to meetings; and help post-docs and other non-students (who typically receive minimal institutional support) complete their projects and prepare them for publication. Support membership – Membership in the AAS promotes the advancement and professional development of all those interested in arachnology, offering a way to share research and ideas, give and receive mentorship, and support of the next generation of scientists in the field. Support our work – The AAS is dedicated to furthering the science of research on arachnids through annual meetings, by publishing the Journal of Arachnology and the Spiders of North America: An Identification Manual, helping support publication of spider guides, and via a variety of activities promoting public understanding of arachnids. Your donation to the general fund will be used where it is most needed.
